Aliya lives in Trinidad and Tobago. She is a teenager and daughter of a songwriter. Her father didn’t know anything about IP and was never rewarded for his efforts. Aliya meets in the street Renuka, a singer who was once famous, but who never benefited from the success of her hit song because CD pirates took all the sales. Aliya is disgusted and decides to do her best to raise IP awareness around her and to help artists to defend their rights. Erphaan Alves, singer and songwriter, will assist Aliya in her challenge, as well as Rhona Jack, inventor of the Udazzle Fashion Ruler, and, of course, the Trinidad and Tobago IP Office.
